PAL - Family Addiction SUPPORT Meeting - For those who have loved ones that struggle with substance abuse. (PAL = Parents of Addicted Loved ones) PAL MEETING 5:30 pm every Wednesday. This PAL meeting is for Parents, spouses and families of Addicts and Alcoholics. This is a totally independent FREE group facilitated by parents who are passionate about recovery. The group meets every Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:00 PM in a conference room provided by MARR (Metro Atlanta Recovery Residence). Come in the main entrance and look for the PAL sign around the side of the building. Please come join us and PLEASE “Like” this post to keep it relevant for a day or two! On April 9th, DKPD conducted two traffic stops that resulted in the seizure of approximately 7g of Crystal Methamphetamine and two felony arrests. Based on the traffic stops, a search warrant was obtained for 2400 Young Road that same day. A search of the location lead to the seizure of 44kg of Crystal Methamphetamine, a large amount of U.S. currency and two additional felony arrests. #WeAreDKPD

Car break-in Parkridge Dr NE Smashed the passenger window last night and searched glove box and center console for guns and money. Reported to BPD. Criminals did the same thing on Easter Sunday, so twice in less than a year. Wish BPD could put a stop to this.

On February 15, 2024 DKPD was notified of a person shot at 1023 N. Hairston Rd. Detectives were able to locate a witness and quickly identify the suspect. DKPD was notified by an agency in Florida that the suspect, who was on the run, has been apprehended & is awaiting extradition back to DeKalb County. #WeAreDKPD
